Welcome to the Leicester HPB website. The main function of this site is to provide information on hepatic, pancreatic and biliary diseases and on the way in which they are managed by the specialist team at the Leicester General Hospital. This introduction provides a brief overview of the unit. Specific diseases and treatments are considered in detail on other pages, please click on the links or use the site map to address specific questions you may have. The research efforts of the unit to improve management of these conditions in the future are also described.
